ABQ Hike #2: The Faulty Trail

Our second hike started on the same trail as the first, but instead of going up and along the crest, we went higher and deeper into the forest.  There weren't as many good views, but it was nice to hike in the shade, and we almost felt like we were back in Georgia at times because of all of the pine trees and needles on the ground.  I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures of that part of the hike, but here's a shot from the initial ascent with the usual sandy, rocky New Mexico terrain.  These hot dogs also enjoyed the shade and are looking forward to cooler weather in the fall!

We also found some great bouldering rocks for some certain friends to climb when they come and visit (ahem, Becca and Forest, ahem ahem).
